About Avraham

Hello, I’m Avraham Y. Eisenman and I’m running for Clifton City Council to represent you.

I’m a 31 year old husband and father of three. I have two boys, 8 & 6, and a 2.5 year old little girl. I was born and raised in Passaic but in 2016 my wife and I moved. When it came time to decide where we wanted to raise our family, we chose to raise them here in our lovely city.

Most of my working experience has been in emergency medicine. Starting as an emergency medical technician, I worked diligently over the years to my current role, Family Nurse Practitioner (specialized in emergency medicine.) I attended the Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in Manhattan for my nursing degree followed by Chamberlain University for my Bachelors and Masters degree in nursing.

From a young age I’ve witnessed my father, a congregational Rabbi give to the community. His generosity influenced me to become quite involved in the community as well. I have volunteered with Passaic OEM, volunteer EMS, and sit on the board of the Jewish Memorial chapel.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, reading American history, in particular, the early 20th century through World War II and watching sports. In particular baseball, football and cycling. When not with family, my absolute favorite hobby is training and competing in triathlons and charity bike rides.

COMMITTED TO CLIFTON

My campaign is based upon a simple slogan and premise, Committed to Clifton. I want to represent you, the citizens of Clifton and I am committed to you.

I will focus on issues that unify us, not divisive politics. I will be accountable to you, the taxpayer and will be transparent in my efforts to make Clifton better. I will work for all Clifton citizens and provide opportunities for all to succeed in our city.
